Last Week's Accomplishments

NIRCam Activities for Week Ending 11/07/06
1) Received warm test SCA from Teledyne for final dewar
checkout.
2) ETU bench machining at AXSYS which had fallen behind
by as much as 8 weeks is catching up, and is only 4.5
weeks behind now. Flight benches are running a couple
of months ahead of schedule.
3) Moly disulfide coating of harmonic drives for FAM looks
great but a problem in handling which resulted in distortion
of a thin wall section will cause a slip in the life test
until December.
