Last Week's Accomplishments

NIRCam Activities for Week Ending Oct 3, 2006

1) Submitted DRD SA-10, "Worst Caase Circuit Analysis" for
Goddard review.
2) Met with Dean Booher, GSFC QA Contractor on site in Tucson,
to discuss his participation in final cable assembly inspection and
in the cable MRR coming up.
3) AXSYS is moving NIRCam bench machining to the JWST building as that is the only way they think they can recover schedule on machining the replacement ETU bench.
4) Triplet testing which was delayed due to a spacer procurement problem is being expanded to include testing of the nudging process to provide a high fidelity test of the module-level alignment procedure.
5) New linear actuators for FAM testing have been received and are receiving a moly disulfide coating in preparation for life testing.
6) New sensor heads have been recieved and none show the epoxy
microcracking seen in earlier parts.
