Accomplishments of Week Ending 3/6/07

1) Shipped more cable assemblies to Teledyne.

2) Outer clean room surrounding chamber to be used in pathfinder testing is now ready, and the new port required in the vaccum chamber is being installed.

3) Received ETU heaters which were procured using the thermal model assuming heat switches.

4) Held MRRs for AR coatings and the DBS which resulted in JDSU being given the go-ahead for ETU production.

5) Barr has been given the go-ahead to produce ETU filters.

6) The MRR on PIL revealed an apparent problem with the center of curvature on some lenses. It is suspected that this a measurement problem, and is being investigated.

NIRCam Needs (from Feb 22 MSR)

• Need PSD information and details of mirror segments for higher fidelity coronagraphic modeling

• Harness and thermal strap loads on bench and struts – needed confirm load on OBA to finalized structural analysis, to complete strut design, and perform OTM analysis on the OA to determine impact on alignment and WFE

• Resolution of intermediate thermal strapping of harnesses

• ISIM Analysis of NIRCam EOL Optics Contamination

• Resolve FPE simulator requirements
